Kitchen Inspirations

I’ve been wanting to renovate the kitchen since we’ve moved in over ten years ago. During the pandemic, we’ve slowly had to replace our appliances one by one. Each new appliance replacement reminds me of how dated our current kitchen is. Until it is time to finally remodel our kitchen, I’ll be scouring the internet for ideas.
While my style tends to be on the more romantic side (think French country or French shabby chic), my practical side tends to take over a bit more.

Simple kitchens with detailed hardware have been catching my eye.
My current back splash and counter top are earthy tones of tan and brown. Either blue or green would compliment these earth tones. Muted or light colors would brighten up the space.
On the other hand, I’m also digging dark and moody kitchens, which seems to be the complete opposite of my romantic side.
For now, I will continue to gather ideas and inspiration before deciding on a light, a dark, or even a colourful kitchen!
